Experience/Practicum
Protégé of seasoned theatrical interpreter. Collaborated
with the Men’s Indianapolis chorus to interpret their Christmas show 2013 and
their spring show 2014.
Interpreted with a classmate an Elizabethan play, Arden of
Faversham spring 2014. Worked with an experienced performing arts interpreter
and an acting team.
Developed interpreting skills by analyzing demands and
controls, practicing in distinctive settings, and increasing my involvement
in the community.

Volunteer work
Camp counselor at Deaf Camp
in Milford, Indiana summer 2013. Mentored Deaf children and CODA’s. Led
excursions,
arts and crafts, and team building activities.
Worked with Hope 4 Kids
International, a 501(c) 3 non-profit humanitarian organization. Traveled to
Peru in June 2010 and Africa July-August 2011 to play with children, assist in
various construction projects, feed children, provide medical supplies, and
gain knowledge of third world countries.
A first grade teacher at St.
Pius Church 2005-2007. Taught six and seven year olds about the basic concepts
of Catholicism, the 10 commandments, and prayers.
